I have a group of 8 wild caught Aspidoras albater in a 55g planted tank with no other fish right now. Problem is Tuesday I have Chili Rasbora's, Clown Killifish, Scarlet Badis, Burmese Rosey Loaches, and 6 more Aspidoras coming in. I found about 16 eggs on Anubia leaves this morning (I did a large cool water WC yesterday) and am wondering if I should cut the leaves off and move them into a breeder box into the tank? The water has a ph of 6.6 with a Kh of 2 and Gh of 4. There is also Indian Almond leaves and peat balls from the UK which add a nice amount of tannins into the water. I've never deliberately removed and raised cory's before in the over 30 years I've kept them (I just let nature take it's course and any fry that survived did so on their own). Anyone with any experience breeding cory's since Aspidoras are in the cory family.
