23L Planted Tank

Sorry I haven't been posting guys! Been a little preoccupied and i'm letting the tank settle down and mature before taking more pics so it will be easier to see any changes =)

My Downoi has now kicked off and is doing great! So I really recommend hanging in there if yours looks like it is dying, because mine DID come round!

Also my Amano shrimp have all shed their shells once each, well I have found 4 cases and there are 3. So one is being cheeky and has shed twice >.<

@GodFan - To be honest I only dose 0.5ml of liquid ferts once a week. So I am pretty sure that you could grow plants on just LEDS.

Ah ok very pretty. I really like your setup. Are you only dosing seachem flourish? I love the high light setup but dont like the ferts and such lol

Leeches?! I have never heard of that in a tank lol. Do they move?
 
I see youve found out what they are though...very weird! Maybe they came in on plants

Planaria is my guess as well. I used Fenbendazole, a dog dewormer and it killed Planaria , but was gentle enough for my Shrimp. Google will get you plenty of links.

Just bought/ordered 10 Cherry Red Shrimp from --> www.beeshrimp.co.uk

This is a good site for me because shipping does not cost loads due to the fact that they are situated within the UK. Also I found the owner VERY helpful and he filled me in every step of the order so far.

They should arrive Tuesday and I can't wait! =D
 
Thanks =) Wow that's unlucky mate! I hope my amanos and otos don't bully them.. They should arrive at about 7-10mm long.
 
looking awesome mate. keen to see some updates when you get to it! i'm new to planted aquariums and i'm loving it. this inspires me to do more! :)
