This video actually looks horrible,definitely not one of my better ones you guys can be honest with me
The sargassum is the bigger one ,the other is the blue throat ..
The purple tang is one tough fish,,he's been through a heck of a lot,,couple hypos, formalin baths,power outages,cold temps ...He's around 11 or 12 years old if i had to guess..could actually be older...He was one of my first and still my favorite

That Purple Tang is gorgeous. Wow! Eleven or 12 yrs. I'm hoping to get that kind of time with my "guys". Was just telling Kio on another thread that I just ordered a 90g that I'm making a reef tank. I take delivery in 2 weeks. Will probably post a "build" thread.

FTM, I can't believe what good taste in fish you have. I have one of those too.

Yeah ,i know ,i keep changing my mind
This wrasse just sounds so cool though..I do like the tusk but this wrasse is said to be one active and crazy swimmer ..Darting in and out of rock work and caves ...

Do you have a female ?The females stay more yellow where as the males turn blueish ..If i had to ,i'd settle on the male
I want one thats already adult colors too,so probably around 5-6 inches ..

Yea I know how it is. Im trying to figure out what my 4th and final fish is going to be but I keep changing my mind. Still I like the tusk better than the banana.

Yes, mine is a female and is constantly in motion. It occasionally has this move where it puts nose to tail (kind of forming a donut) and drops almost all of the way to bottom of the tank and then takes off again. I would say it is every bit as active as my Naso.

I may get one,,
LFS just called ,and they got one in that is much,much bigger than they wanted ..
They said i can have it for 20 bucks,,going to check it out tomorrow

FTM, my Naso took about a week to eat (told that is common) but now eats well and is always out and moving. He was about 4" when I got him, he is now about 6". He is currently housed with (and don't yell at me, I know I'm overstocked and working on it):

Powder Blue
Dog Face Puffer
Blue Spotted Toby
Valentini Puffer
Coral Beauty
Tomato Clown
Greenbird Wrasse
Banana Wrasse
Rainbow Wrasse
Pinktail Trigger
Green Wolf Eel

He/she isn't bothered by anyone. Down the road (as everything is pretty small now) I'm thinking about pulling the Dogface and Pinktail. Unfortunately, none of my current stock can got in my 90g that is delivering next Thursday (doing a reef, very excited).

So the powder blue didn't cause any problems sean?

Just talked to the guy(they left a message),,says this one is 8-9 inches
It wasn't one they ordered ,its a trade..The message just said they got a naso bigger than they thought..I guess the guy told them he had one and they didn't realize it was that big..They know me and knew i had the tank to house it ,so they called..Time to set up the QT tote
Gonna try and get out early tomorrow
I do like the naso ,but love the blondes ..Thats OK though ..At this size and price,i can't beat it ..I know the purple is going to be spazz out ..not looking forward to that

Cool deal on the naso . They are usually over $100 that size around here . I dont know much about them but I read they are jumpers.

Yeah i just read that,,My tank is mostly covered though..May have to fit some eggcrate in a couple spots ..
Yeah i feel lucky,,guy said he would charge 100 bucks to anyone else

FTM, my Powder Blue is belligerent and bossy, but the Naso he leaves alone. Actually, everyone leaves him alone and doesn't bother anyone. And you a right, that is a steal. Would love to see pics when it's in.
