Sweet!! Either one would be fantastic. There's not really a diff between a 55 or 60(besides 5 gallon which can be better but not by much.) The 60 will be a smudge taller. If it was between a 55 or 60 I'd get the best deal. OR a 75g :)

I don't want to push my luck too far with him! Lol, I would LOVE 75 gallons...but I will take what I can get! I think they will be so happy!

Why don't u just talk him in to a 125g :) :) :)

Hmmmmm...hopefully I will be able to in the future!!!!! I told him that when I get my bigger tank, I'm still keeping my 30 gallon. I think I want to leave my ACF and my Gouramis in it. Maybe add one or two other fish. All my others will go to the bigger aquarium. I put some extra filter media in and a bunch of gravel in bags to start getting some bb on them already. I feel like a kind in a candy store!

Agreed. My wife hates how much time I spend with my tanks. She doesn't understand why I like them so much. I like how they greet me every time they see me. Kinda like saying hey to me. Following me as i walk past the glass. I told her they don't talked back or argue with me lol. Love them fish. Cool little guys.

Missed the whole thread but kudos to you. Fish have been my life for a long time and love hearing people saving them. Glad to hear there are people like you out there

My husband is the same way. I will pull a chair up to my tank, and and watch them for hours. I sit there and talk to them too. My 2 1/2 year old daughter has started to talk to the fish along with me. My husband will sit there staring at us, and shake his head. I'm sure when I get my bigger aquarium, they will be even more active...and, of course, I'll watch them even more! :)

Thank you! I am just glad I was there at the right time! My San is super clean since I brought them home, and they are a hoot to watch!

I do the same freaking thing. My cow fish lets me hold him and pet him. Tho I try not to touch him because I hate putting my hands in the tank. I to as a human have junk on my hands even tho I rinse them for two mins under hot water. I just have a thing about it. It's just hard to resist that face he has lol

Awe, that's so sweet! My ACF loves to be held and have her back pet. She is such a seer heart! Everyone says that ACFs will eat any fish, but not mine! She eats once every three to four days. She want either frozen bloodworms, or goldfish pellets. She will not touch frog food!

That's like my cow. He's 13 inchs and will only touch frozen. Tho I'm kinda afraid of his mouth. It's huge and has teeth. He's awesome tho.

I would be afraid of those teeth too!!!!

Can't say I sympathize. My love for my fish extends only as far as the amount of money I paid for them. If my oranda died I'd be 25 dollars upset.

Try losing a blue faced angel. Ud be 300$+(dependes on the size) upset like I was. Wasn't the money I was upset about tho.

Just found two 50 gallons for $25 each!!!! They don't have hoods or filters, but well worth $25 each!

Holy crap I'd better get them. Make sure they hold water for 24 hours. Check the seals.

I am going to go get the Saturday!!!! Oh yeah, I won't make the mistake of filling a used tank without testing it again! I am going to go buy the lights and all Friday. I have four beautiful pieces of driftwood that have been boiled, and are now just sitting in water. I'm only going to set up one right now. I am moving everything except my pleco, frog, and gouramis to the new tank!
