I think it is possible my angel fish laid eggs, maybe bad ones as they are white not clearish. There have been three big bunches of eggs over the past number of weeks, thought it was the Nerites (wondered how they laid sooo many in one day), but on the past two occasions I have seen my Angels hovering around them, one time was next to the FX-5 inflow - they usually don't hang out there since the current is so strong but they stayed for a couple days hovering.

The third guy (angelfish), is being chased away from the other two by the middle sized one. Can anyone tell if these two are a male and female and which is which? These are the two which have always liked being together.

If this is egg laying, I wasn't expecting it yet. I may need to move some fish around so these guys can have eggs in peace in a different tank!

Watched an Oto cat on the glass near where they are hovering now, and the Angel pecked at him on the glass a few times, then kinda hard and the Oto went right for him and kinda pecked him back a couple times in mid water, this was VERY humorous! I was pretty shocked!

Look what I got!!!! Swapped out my 110 tall and 75 for a 125 that I picked up for $150

Before and after

Oh I hate it when I do something stupid and then admit to it! :-o Did a water change on my Betta tank at work, came home did water changes on 3 of my 7 home tanks which included my 46g. I also cleaned my canister filter on the 46g . . . the stupid part . . . got it cleaned up, put back together, connected back to the hoses, filled back up with tank water, walk back to the kitchen to see the cover for the interior containers sitting in the sink. Ooops.

You must be human! lol

Had to take one of my betta from the sorority tank. Her belly keeps swelling. It comes and goes, but I'm going to have to put her in a separate tank so I can monitor her better. In a bowl for now until her tank finishes cycling. This is her first day fasting, and she has already relieved herself quite a bit and swelling is going down.
I also removed my adf from the community tank and placed them in a 5 gallon that now houses a hm male betta. It is now much easier to hand feed them and I don't have to worry about the other fish stealing their food from under their noses.
Finally was able to move my poor Lilith, betta with a constant swim bladder disorder, to her new 1.5 gallon tank. She seems to love all the plants I gave her to help her stay deeper in the tank. She is much happier now than in her bowl, and no sign of constipation from her for a week. Keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way.
Lost a male betta last night. Can't tell for sure what happened since he never showed symptoms other than mild fin clamping and loss of appetite the day of his passing. He never was that active since I got him from the store either, so maybe he got something there? Had him for 2 weeks. Sterilizing his tank to be safe.
Gave all my fish peas today, and some cucumber for my kuhli loaches.

Got a huge order of juvenile guppies in from a friend yesterday, way more types than I orginally ordered, so I'be been spending the last day and a half trying to figure out how to split them so that when they grow out the females will be easily distinguishable. It's hard when 90% of my female guppies are a plain gold or grey color!
I think I finally have it figured out though. I guess only time will tell. I'll have to figure out a better system soon.

Also did large w/c's on every tank but the 2.5'a and pulled some supercross females to drop out of the female tank.

Oh, then i trimmed and replanted all the 2.5's and threw the trimmings into my birthing tank.

Think that's it! Lol

Bought a new tank and rescued the other tank the lady had.

First got a near new Fluval Chi 5G, CaribSea SuperNaturals Black, I believe Tahitian Moon sand and a bag of foods and water treatment stuff for $20.

Then was asked to take the other tank too for free...

So they were all in the tank, a 2G Aqueon Evolve LED with one Anubias Nana plant and a bunch of Algae on it. The people had changed the water and cleaned the tank.

The frog with one missing eye and a bite on his head, a Cherry barb male, three Neons and three red line tetras, didn't notice any sucker fish so it must have died, and a full grown Crowntail Betta Black and cobalt blue, very pretty, AND one Harlequin Rasbora. So that is 10 living things in there.

When I got home, I moved the Cherry Barb to the snail jar, hoping there are enough plants so all the shrimp aren't eaten. I don't have Cherry barbs so maybe re-homing it soon. He was biting at the frog when I was there picking them up, and chasing the other fish around. There was no where for the little frog to hide. :bawl: Frog looks poorly. Hope he makes it.

Betta went into a big snail bowl, 2G with the frog for the time being and a big cloud of Java Moss for the frog to hide in. Cleaned it too before I put them in, snails are sooo poopy!

The Tetras are back in the Evolve tank with a bunch of random plants and moss thrown in for the moment, and the Neons have their color back already, still seem scared. Cleaned the gravel with treated water as well. it smelled like yuck.

Added water to three tanks from Evaporation.

Now going to make sure I understand how this Chi tank works before I set it up. Very excited and happy to get it, been wanting one for a year and a half at least. Have a 3x4" piece of filter pad to get the cycle going on it! I can't make up my mind for a shrimp tank with DW/Spiderwood sticking out of it or keep as a Betta tank. I also have the Fluval Bamboo wall deco from the Edge tank and may use it for some plants and go Zen. I always feel like decorations premade like that are a bit contrived, and not that much to my taste.

But in the same breath, there is a Sponge Bob Pineapple house that came with it, and I think it is very funny, just not funny in my Chi tank. ;)

So overall awesome tank day for $20.

I didn't want another Betta, though he is very pretty. I will hope to find a new home for him.

If the Tetras do well, after QT I will add them into the big tank with the others, and the dozen Cardinals. The Harlequin Rasbora will have 5 other friends as well, so everyone will be happy.
