I'd like to have a D3200. Great camera that's not too expensive. I think you'd like it. But I will probably get the D7100 with next year's tax refund to replace my aging D300. Because the less expensive Nikons do not provide metering with manual focus lenses(and most of the lenses I have are manual). Canon(and other manufacturers)also make great cameras, but I have about 20 Nikon mount lenses. So I guess you could say I'm married to Nikon.
We are newly weds still on our honeymoon! Before nikon I used a phone! Most of those pics/vids are 4tanks2day. I only have three lenses none of which are really up to fish photography, my macro is fast enough but focal length too long and the tele zoom doesn't focus nearer than five feet it isn't one of the trinity either! I don't yet own a separate flash but reading here it's now on the long list! I'm gutted about the new D7100 I can't get one because it doesn't accept my off brand (sigma) macro lens. I'm sure that could've been fixed, it's just that one lens. Maybe Santa can help me out. . . .
