Hello every one! I am new to this website but have kept saltwater and freshwater aquariums before. I thought I share a little piece of my fluvial edge I set up 2 months ago. Cycling is done as well. I was not too happy with the fluvial led lights so I changed the whole light out for a way nicer one. I posted before and after pictures of how the switching out of the lighting made a big difference. I did have driftwood in their but took it out because it was making my water a brownish color. Now it's all cleared up (y) I currently have one male and one female German Blue Ram and 6 small neon tetras. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Aaron

Beautiful!! Those Edge tanks are such nice tanks. I'm normally not a big fan of plastic plants, but I have to say that with the way you arranged them, they look absolutely spectacular. Really nice job!!

Thank you very much! I tried my best to make it look as perfect as possible. Those rams you seen in those pictures are actually gone :( They were not getting along at all. The male chased the female so much so I took them out and switched them out for two new rams and I have to say they are way more colorful and they are actually a pair. She has already laid eggs and I only have had them for 2 weeks. They are doing way better than the other :dance::dance:

I can. The brighter (male, I assume) is slightly behind, but closer to the camera, than the female. Very striking Blue coloration!

Oh okay, because I can not see it but thank you! They actually just got done laying eggs and are already in a argument lol.

Typical couple...Lol. Do rams do okay with smaller fish, like tetras?

People say they don't but with my experience they leave them alone and I have 5 of them. I also have 3 cherry shrimp and two Otocinclus sucker fish in their for algae and they leave them alone as well. The only time they may pick at them is if they get too close to their new eggs.
