Nice tank! Is it just 3 guppies in there? If you put a sponge over the AC intake this could be a very nice fish/shrimp tank.

Nano looks good! I tried DHG in my nano, didn't work too well. Are you using a planted tank substrate or any old whatever? Looks like the bacopa exploded too, nice!

Its done great for me, never even had that initial die off. The bacopa really has exploded, the baggie it came in was only an inch and a half tall. This tank has been gravel since i started it, its now floramax.

3 guppies and an oto, I'm line breeding the male with that neon blue female. I tried ghost shrimp early on but lost them after my beach vacation back in may. I'm wanting to get some shrimp but may do a separate tank. Really liking those OEBT's. A fish room just opened in the house.

Nice tank!!! Plants look great , what lights are you using , I guess it's low lighting?[emoji1]

Thanks brookster and TT, means a lot coming from you guys.

Sorry for the lack of updates, this is the time of year NASCAR teams order their new cars, particularly speedway packages for Daytona so I have been absolutely swamped. Really no break in sight through February but I'm trying to get the ball rolling on my next few months worth of projects and tank moves.

Work hard play hard man. Don't over extend yourself and life is good

Thanks man, and yes it tis! And I'm sorry to disappoint the planted guys but I'm going to be really backing away from the plant thing. Its been a lot of fun but I currently just do not have the time. I'm going to remove the dhg and try to lose the co2, I'll have to raise the light to reduce the algae factory and its just not going to be able to sustain the dhg at that point, I'm also infuriated with floating strands of grass everywhere lol. I'm hoping to keep my corymbosa and bacopa but will likely reduce them as well. I'm going to try the dhg thing again later but its just not for me right now.

Send me the dhg, I'll give it a good home;)

dang brookster, I was pulling and tossing most of it earlier when I posted. I kept a small patch to see if it survived less light. I surely would've man, but keep in mind its just a 5.5, its only a handful. Next go round I'll send you some when it roots.

Sorry to hear that man. Planted tanks are a lot of work especially high tech..

Hey its not the end of the world, and its still planted, just not as heavily. That grass bed is a major crap catcher too. With some Malawi's trying to breed, guppies going, the FM tank and a saltwater I just didn't have the time to trim weekly.

Posting a few pics tonight, sorry for the horrible photo quality, I'm getting a new phone in the next few weeks.

Last shot of the nano fully planted, I'll be rescaping soon.

One batch of offspring from the killer guppy pair

The 60 gallon as it sits, these photos give no scale of the size of the fish, Poseidon is nearing six inches.

The firemouth sev tank

The saltwater setup

And the Indigo dottyback, not at all shy

Thanks TT, much more to come when time permits. Really looking to dedicate one tank to rams or apistos soon. That and fighting the urge for a wet pet 75 gal have been occupying much of my free thinking time lately.

Duuude.... Everything looks good. Dont overwork yourself, bro.

I somehow missed this post clem, sorry bud. Its a 9" finnex fugeray on a 9" tall tank. I'm not great with judging lighting levels but based on the algae production and ability to grow dhg im guessing maybe medium to low medium light? If it was on a 20 tall it would be low for sure but with the light around 8" from the substrate I think its fairly high.

Thanks a lot man. I'm trying, nearly 50 hours of work plus tank maintenance this week has kicked my butt. But its Friday! Time for some tank work.

Awesome.... Cant to see them. Work hard, play hard, relax harder.

The tanks look great! Do all saltwater tanks live rock turn that brown color every time?
