Mine so far are all over the place. It's awesome moved the remaing white cloud minnow was nipping at some of the cpds so he has to go donating him to the LFSStunning but mine were shy, hid all the time. The lfs has some pretty bold ones, swimming all around in front.
We dropped Nudger (b of a betta) off at her new home.

Filter media and a couple of baby rabbit snails as well as some decor that the topple popple thought Nudger would want.
My daughter was so strong and brave about this whole thing. I feel like a very mean mom for making her give up this fish, but really we shouldn't have gotten her in the first place.
She'll have to make do with the five pea puffers, five guppies, six kuhli loaches, nine mystery snails, three rabbit snails (and their babies), and six forktail rainbow fish across three tanks. Plus dozens of ramshorns. Poor child!
But I still feel like a mean mom.
.
The Endlers in Reds Biorb are nipping his fins! Cheeky little buggers. My hubbie wants to feed them to the cat.
I wonder what we could put in there that won't nip? Rasboras?
Boraras Brigittae/Chilis, or other Dwarf Rasboras. I have not seen any issues in the Chilis.
SAEs are about 2 inches will get replaced once they get bigger with smaller ones got them to eat some hair algae I had an its gone nowHow big are the SAE, they get 6" or so!
Get a dozen. Or...
But what about Microdevario Kubotai Neon Green Rasboras, lately one of my favorites!

I totally understood and accepted that males need to be alone. I had heard of several people keeping females with communities, but ours was not a female willing to share her space.Mine was in a 55 gallon tank, I guess it was not big enough for her. She's in a 2.5 gallon tank now, I feel sorry for her. View attachment 298061

55 gallons still wasn't enough? These fish sure can be mean!
