Last night did a 75% pwc for the Discus.

The Angelfish in the 72G are making me mad with all the angry chasing and biting charging going on.

Discus isn't really seeming to eat. I added a bunch of food variety and had to suck out and remove most all of it. That is why the big pwc.

Probably moving the Angels to the 29G and adding the Discus back to the 72G maybe it will feel safer with the smaller fish, Neons around.

Ran out of time today - had an appointment out of town for work but couldn't stop at the more than an hour north not so lfs. :( Had to just drive on by.

The other Angelfish parents have supplied the tank with tiny foods for a few days now. I have a couple days with wiggle room and maybe can save some. Can't see what is left, but they are still protecting the inner leaves of the Crypt cage. I will try to load the couple pics I got soon. Need to still find the punmp for the pond. Threw the 2 DW which haven't sank in 2 months into the pond. Some plants are growing on it, the dry day time killed a few off already today as I walked by, I saw the dry green leaves.

PWC on the shrimp nursery today to remove some meds. Have all the plants, lava and mopani soaking in more meds in a tub.

Made some planaria traps to see if there are any survivors.

PWC on my main tank. Ferts and new root tabs.

The Endlers in Reds Biorb are nipping his fins! Cheeky little buggers. My hubbie wants to feed them to the cat.

I wonder what we could put in there that won't nip? Rosboras?

Stunning but mine were shy, hid all the time. The lfs has some pretty bold ones, swimming all around in front.
Mine so far are all over the place. It's awesome moved the remaing white cloud minnow was nipping at some of the cpds so he has to go donating him to the LFS

We dropped Nudger (b of a betta) off at her new home.

Filter media and a couple of baby rabbit snails as well as some decor that the topple popple thought Nudger would want.

My daughter was so strong and brave about this whole thing. I feel like a very mean mom for making her give up this fish, but really we shouldn't have gotten her in the first place.

She'll have to make do with the five pea puffers, five guppies, six kuhli loaches, nine mystery snails, three rabbit snails (and their babies), and six forktail rainbow fish across three tanks. Plus dozens of ramshorns. Poor child!

But I still feel like a mean mom.

Lol, nah, life lesson: don't be mean.

Mean fish and mean people suck. Mean fish get rehomed and mean people... well that's a whole 'nother topic for fruitful discussion with her. ;) Something called consequences.

Next thing on the list is some chili rasboras how many would ya recommend
My stocking list
4 ghost shrimp
2 SAEs
14 celestial pearl dannios
3 to 4 RCS
17.1 gl tank / hydor pro. 150 canister

How big are the SAE, they get 6" or so!

Well today is my water change... Drained 40 % of water and put back fresh water, fish seems so happy with water change lol... I reward them with a little bit of food like a snack so they will be happy everytime when i change water :D. I also added some CO2 to help with plants :D If you want to check out my tank link is in my signature...

Mine was in a 55 gallon tank, I guess it was not big enough for her. She's in a 2.5 gallon tank now, I feel sorry for her. IMG_0481.jpg

I totally understood and accepted that males need to be alone. I had heard of several people keeping females with communities, but ours was not a female willing to share her space.

55 gallons still wasn't enough? These fish sure can be mean!

I had two female bettas in the 55 gallon tank, the blue one will chase the other one all around the tank. This one is chill, always hungry. IMG_0485.jpgIMG_0484.jpg

I relocated my tank from dorm to a friend's place while I nail down for exams. Won't have any time to do much other than classes and study so Buck and friends are at a friend's place for now. Move went over well, for the most part. Wasn't able to take a picture before I left because I'm on a timer at the moment. Ugh, exams.
