    Ive heard neon and cardinal tetra are a special exception, but in general different species won't school together.

    I just use drift wood and it works mostly the same. If you have sand they can dig out a cave. I dont know much about puffers but as I understand it puffers are highly aggressive and prefer crustaceans and inverts.

    I have 2 in my 10 gallon tank. I had to take my betta out cuz they kicked his ***. Looks like they got some tail from a neon tetra too. I wouldnt worry about it harming your fish unless its a betta though. These CPO arent really that good at what they do lol. Im comfortable getting another...

    Red cherries come in lots of colors. Pick one and you wont have any crossbreeding
