All right. I'll suppose I'll just start leaving algae wafers and shrimp pellets about and hope he cools off enough to find them. I know what you mean about the mollies, mine did that before they got hooked on frozen brine shrimp every day. Thanks a ton!

My tank is cycled, it has been for a long time. Before weekly water changes were all I needed but I've been needing to do them more often. My ammonia and nitrites are fine, it's just my nitrates that have been going up quicker.

So here are my current levels. Keep in mind I did a very large water change this morning Ammonia: 0 ppm Nitrite: About 1 ppm Nitrate: About 30 ppm (This test could be wrong, I think I put too many drops in) Where is my bacteria?!!

That makes sense. I will discontinue feeding it to them for now and keep monitoring the levels. What does anyone think about the algae?

Nope, no new fish and nothing with my water supply has changed to my knowledge. I have no idea what effect that algae growth could have, or if something has changed because of the introducing of frozen brine shrimp to the tank. ugh.

I moved the gourami out, he seems to have taken nicely to the cycled main tank. Whatever happens, happens. I really need to get my responsibility up. I never check temp or water conditions. I just assume the heater keeps it in place, and my levels are fine until PWC. I do PWC's usually earlier...

50% done. Another molly looking to die soon. The rest are hiding from me. Gourami is the only one moving around. If I don't get input on him I'll just make a choice and live with it.

I have some concerns about the gourami. He looks great, he hasn't been inside as long as the other fish. If there were any I could save, it'd be him. I'm going to move him to a seperate container (should be fine for a while, surface breather) and think about whether or not I want to move him...
