    Too much flow?

Yes I cycled the tank, I am not a total newb, I have had freshwater tanks for years. I will try pointing the head to the left and see if that helps. Thank you for the advice :)

    Too much flow?

Hello, I am new to the world of saltwater and just finished setting up a 45 gallon corner tank. I was advised that in addition to the fluval 405 I am running on the tank I would need to add two circulation pumps. At the saltwater store I left with two circulation pumps rated at 850 gph...

It takes between 9 months to over a year before these plecos become sexually mature. Please keep us informed if you see signs of whiskers!

    Marbled Cray

I have quite a few of them. They are very big eaters and go through a pound of hornwort a week! I have read that they do not harm their babies but I have had most of my success providing very small hiding spots for the young crays. I silicone a bunch of drinking straws together and use a rock...

At what point do you remove the fry? If remove fairly soon after say 3 weeks old will the parents readily spawn again?

    German Blue Rams spawning! Video!

Congrats on the spawn!! I need to ask you what your water parameters are, more specifically temperature and ph. Did you do anything in particular to trigger the spawn? What types of foods were you feeding them before they spawned for you? They are gorgeous fish btw! You should be proud!

    low or no tech planted

One more thing to consider is seasonal changes in light intensity. During the summer months the light intensity from the sun is very very strong and plant growth will be incredible. However as the seasons change so does the intensity of the light from the sun (very noticable here in Canada!)...
