Well I finally got my shipment of plants. I was supposed to receive it last Thursday but because of problems with UPS i got them 6 days later. Well the plants were damaged but thankfully they were pretty hardy plants, java fern, crypts, wisteria etc. Are there anything special I should I do...

My biggest fish are 2 Gold Gouramis. Second is Congo Tetras. I'm worried about the Golds once they become full grown, about 6"

I'm intrested in buying some Japonica Amano(sp?) shrimp for my aquarium. I've heard they are great for algae eating. Has anyone had any experiences with them? How many would I need for a 39 gallon tank? How does their bio-load compare to the bio-load of fish?

Sorry if this seems like a silly question but I'm new to the plant world. I was wondering if plants repair themselves from nutrient deficiencies once the lacking nutrient has been provided?

I've been searching for DIY CO2 recipes, and those two ingredients have been mentioned ocassionly. Anyone know the reasoning behind adding those two ingredients?
