when i cleaned it out it was kinda muddy, but it was bound for a change anyways cause it was about 2 months before i changed any media. I mainly had bits and pieces of flourite in there that i just cleaned out.

what type of filter are you running? i was running an xp2 off of my 30 gal and it took about 2-3 days before it completely cleared up...I forgot to rinse the flourite before adding it in the tank :(

i tested my ammonia nitrates and nitrites and they are all in check. ph is at 6.6

I was looking at my tank today, and I noticed that both my redtail and rainbow shark's fins are looking really bad. All the tips are turning white, and it looks all chunky. It's really an eye sore.

i'm glad my fish all seem to be doing well despite the temp changes. I wouldn't be very happy if my room was at 86* :( The white spots are still there, not a single one more or less. The temp is at 86*, gonna raise it slightly more to 87*.
