Hi can anyone tell me what type of algea this is and any good ways to wipe it out. It's covered every plant and all the wood in the tank and looks awful.
I don't dose anything I'm new to live plants so have just tried a couple stem plants (which are growing great) and the sword. I was trying to avoid dosing anything as I go away alot so it would be more to do for whoever is feeding my fish.

Is it not good as it doesn't tend to warp as much as natural wood. You cannot also get natural wood in the same size sheets needed for an aquarium stand
Yeah I hope it'll be fine. I got mdf as I could get it in a thicker sheet. The plywood in the shop only went up to 12mm. I think if I paint the mdf it should be fine
