Hi I have just done a 50% water change now 0 0 0-5pm nitrate it’s between the 2 I’ll see how this goes and if any more pass away I’ll pop back to ask more questions

Water source fairly close tbf and the fish have been in over 2 months now and these are the first problems so I believe the cycle was correct and I use liquid it’s measured at between 0 and .25 ever test the last month or so but the nitrate does go up so I’m guessing that’s not the problem

Okay I’ll get them re homed then with they try and harass the loaches as early the loaches seemed to be chasing the cichlids however now the loaches are hiding

I was give some little ottos when I started the tank to try and start the filter off on a cycle are the cichlids likely to eat them
