    Another floating fish..

First of all welcome to Aquarium Advice. Is your platy a Red Wagtail Platy? If it is, your platy might be getting to its maximum life expectancy. The average lifespan is only like 3-4years. If it isn't this, it'll probably be your water parameters. Please post so we can help

tank 3 month old the amonia level is very high please HELP

Has you're tank been cycled before? I think that you have another mini-cycle happening. Because you have high ammonia levels yet you already have nitrate levels. Keep changing water 10% to control the ammonia levels.

    Good tank and dead guppy?

Yes you need one. Nitrates level beyond 40ppm would be lethal to fish. Also i think that the main reason the guppy was dead because due to breeding so much to get a fancy guppy, it would easily die from slight problems.

The best possible way is to have another tank. But if you want a cheaper way, get a tank divider and divide the tank before the female gives birth.

    sick rosy barb

Don't worry, even if they do breed, chances are that they won't survive long because the parents usually eat them. And keeping more barbs is a good idea, but what size is your tank? You don't want to overcrowd it. And the best thing you can do to it right now is buy some stress coat to...

    Cycling question, sorta

Cycling is a process where the ammonia produced by fish respiration, excretation and uneaten food get turned into nitrite. Bacteria builds up in the tank and the filter. These bacteria are called Nirosomonas. It takes time for Nirosomonas to colonise the tank so it might take a few weeks for...

You should separate the spawn from the angels. This is because... 1) Chances are that the angels will eat the frys 2) Angel fish are territory, especially at breeding times and will harm other fish in the tank if put together. :D

    Help! Whats wrong w/my aquarium?

It is just probably some algae growing. Have you got any algae eaters? If you don't, then you should probably get one. Also, is the tank in direct sunlight? Because it helps remove algae if it is.
