More Diatom Questions When you say add the diatom powder, which I bought this evening, do you mean to have it sucked up through the intake dry? Is the micron filter dry too? Although, I would imagine it would have to be at least damp in order for the powder to adhere to anything.

Whoa If your tank has not cycled, then don't get any fish. I think it's much more humane to cycle a tank without using fish. However, if you want to look at something other than water in a tank, then get a Damsel of some kind. They are heartier than either the Chromis or the Clown. JMHO.
