    i think that the anemone might in fact be aptasia. http://www.saltyunderground.com/images/aiptasiaCloseUp.jpg here is a picture i found on the internet that looks very similar if not exactly alike and it is labelled "Aptasia Anemone".

    black lights make corals and fish floresce better... also make the water look more blue than normal. It came with the biocube though.

    I have it set like this: Day light: 10am - 10 pm black light: 3pm - 11 pm lunar lights: 11pm - 4am darkness: 4 am - 10am Anyone have any suggestions? If i change it will it stress fish, corals, etc....

    I tested everything else in my aquarium yes and everything is fine. My new 6 gallons im doing i will test ph, salt conc. and the only water i can use is from the tap right now, and the nitrates have read at 5ppm. But that is alot better than 160

    oceanic biocube problem

    HAHHA ALRIGHT... so I live in a house with 9 other guys, and they partied saturdaynight and they wanted to show their friends the aquarium so they did the "credit-card" slip on the door and yeah, they did it by accident. So no problem with the biocube, its actually really nice.

    Hey, We figured it out. Our leather was actually growing. Leathers shead a layer of their skin when they grow and in order to do so, they recess themselves and eventually shed a shinny layer of skin. WooHoo thanks for all the help though and hope.

    It is for sure a clear, defined brown object. It is flat on the hammer coral, and is dark brown with a black dot in the centre. any more ideas?
