has anybody tried using pond fertilizer in an aquarium? i picked up several bottles for ten cents each. it tells me to use 1 tab per gallon of soil can anyone translate that to a 10 or 30 gallon tank?

i just moved my snail to a hospital tank after it seemed he wasn't doing well with the medication and salt in the ich tank. there is no algae in the hospital tank yet, so i through in an algae wafter. is there any thing else i should to make sure his dietary needs are met? his name is gary.

i have hard water that is causing my ph to bounce back. does anyone think letting my tap water sit for a day and letting the mineral settle to the bottom will help?
