Get some fibre paddings (used in filling comforters and available in the fabrics section) from walmart and put it in ur filter.. will solve the problem. Make sure it is not chemically treated.. I used them a lot on my Fluval and Aquaclear to catch lot of debries.

Clown Pleco -stays small. :lol:

Cichlids ---> meal ----- > snails :lol:

Poor eye sight-- that explain the mystery... this guy swims over the food but still didnt touch it.. I will try your idea.. ghost shrimp.. let see what happens

I bought one almost a week ago and it is on my 10 Gal tank. I tried with brine shrimp, pellets, flakes... this guy doenst seem to be interested in anything. :o ... does anybody have experience with this loach and feeding habits.

At least 2 hours a week.. 29gal and 10 gal PWC, Cleaning inside and outside glass, dead leaves removal, monthly clean my filter sponge Corys, Rainbows, Angels, Balloon Mollies, Oto, Danios, Bolivian Rams, Tetras... Watch fishes for atleast 30 minutes a day. Look for signs of stress or weird...

I have read in most of the fish food ingredients list that they are made from seafood. Do these tropical fishes eat fish when they are in the wild. How are they getting adjusted to the 'fish eat fish' concept. :roll:

I bought pencillin Gel-tek recently because of mouth cotton in my rainbow.. none of my fish eat it except my angels.. So I decided to mix it with my flakes and brine shrimp. It some what works.. But not as the instruction claims :oops:

I agree they will nip anything after getting settle down.

These are listed as venomous fish in my LFS.. touching is at your own risk. :wink:

I was thinking about weird food people feed the fish apart from normal food stuff you get it in stores.. I have tried some garden bugs with my puffer some time ago... apart from that I have not tried much (to kill the fish).... :lol: I have seen some people feeding their aquarium with potato...

may be some bottom feeders -- corys / clown pleco..

Oto- highly recommended. But u cannot keep them alive after the algae is gone.. atleast in my experience.
