I am cycling an 80 litre tank with danios and loads of plants. It has been set up for 2 and a half weeks. I am at the stage where the nitrite has spiked off the charts and has now settled down to zero, isn't this when the cycle is done? As my amonia reads 0.25ppm. I should state, I have not done...

What I want to know is, does the tank have to be cycled before I can put the plants in? Thanks
