OKAy, so that snail i bought yesterday?.....ITS DEAD! it was a retarted snail or something. but anyways, SMOKE that snail, i wanna know how i should anchor my live plant down into the rocks, it keeps floating up every morning. And sure enough when i get back from school, its floating up there...

I just got a new plant and the bottom of the tank has gotten this covering around the plant, kinda like fog, but it settles like myst it's really weird, WHATS UP?

today i went out and bought 2 things for my lil' ol ten gallon. I bought one snail, and a plant called a Bacopa or something. I really don't know what to do with my plant. I kinda just put it down in the gravel and left it. DO i need to do anything to root it or will it just grow on it's own...

The python is a siphon, it simply attatches to a faucet to start and maintain the suction, this is really nice in situations where the tank (or pond) is lower than the container your draining into. Once you have syphoned the desired amount you flip a switch and it fills through the same line...

stick with a siphon man, those things are old school, and pretty fun to master

nate, it isn't the water changes that is your problem. it is the live plants you bought for the tank. i found the same thing when i put in a couple of those ferns you have, on the right hand corner. um......its definatley the plants, becuase it recently (when you got the plants) got cloudy...

that might be cool, ya know drop in some hamburger meat.

um, today i went to petco and came across a bottle of AmQuil at 50% more for the same old price. so i bought it. It is just a chemical you use for getting rid of cholorine and ammonia and such
