    Dissapearing baby cherry shrimp

I have a fair amount of plants and a porous piece of driftwood where the shrimp like to hide.

    Red Cherry Shrimp tank mates

Anything with a very small mouth would be okay. The 100% safest bet are ottos. Other then that celestial pearl danios or emerald rasboras. I added the rasboras to my tank. Although, I never see the baby shrimp anymore. They mostly hide now or could have gotten eaten. So if you want to have a...

    Dissapearing baby cherry shrimp

Yeah I liked seeing them. If I don't see any juveniles or even babies in time I may just remove the emeralds.

    Dissapearing baby cherry shrimp

Hi everyone. I have had a cherry shrimp tank up and running for a couple months now. A couple weeks ago I noticed quite a few baby shrimp around the tank. I added seven dwarf emerald rasboras last week and ever since then I haven't seen any of the baby shrimp. Would the rasboras have eaten all...

    Baby snails in shrimp tank

Yeah when I feed them it's with algae wafers. Only a small piece though. My tank has only been up for about a month and I only had the shrimp for a couple weeks.

    Baby snails in shrimp tank

Well I have only fed my shrimp a couple times since I got them. I figure they have a lot to eat already from the plants and algae. I will feed sparingly although I haven't been feeding much anyway. Also I just saw a tiny shrimp on the glass of my tank. I don't see anymore yet but I think my...

    Baby snails in shrimp tank

Also there are small white dots on my driftwood. I have them in my other tank but was never sure what they were? They aren't moving. Would they be from the snail I have? Maybe eggs?

    Baby snails in shrimp tank

I recently added some new plants to my cherry shrimp tank. I have noticed two very small snails now that probably came in on the plants. I can see very small white spots crawling on the glass inside the tank, which I assume are baby snails. I really don't want to have an explosion of snails in...

    Feeding cherry shrimp

It's a shrimp only tank. I put 1/4 of a wafer in last night and they were all eating it but it seemed like it was too big so I'll add a smaller piece next time

    Feeding cherry shrimp

I have a five gallon and recently added twelve cherry shrimp. I'm just wondering what the best feeding schedule is for them. So far I haven't fed anything because the tank is planted and they seem to have some things to eat already. I have algae wafers but I'm not sure when to feed them and how...

    Cherry shrimp tankmates?

Hey all. I just added 12 cherry shrimp to a fluval spec five gallon. I want to add something else but I don't know what... I was thinking some celestial pearl danios or another dwarf species of schooling fish. Are they're any other small species that would go okay with cherry shrimp in a five...

    What moss to use?

Recently set up a six gallon fluval spec with a piece of driftwood and a few low light plants. I am thinking about making a small moss carpet or something with moss. I don't know what moss would be best? I'm going to be adding cherry shrimp eventually. I was thinking Xmas moss but what do you...

    Fluval spec v stocking

Thanks for the input everyone! I'm definitely doing sand for substrate. I have a bunch of low light plants in my bigger tank so I'll take some out and put them in (Java fern, Anubis, etc.) for stocking, I wanna do some galaxy rasboras, a snail or two, and shrimp. I'm not sure if I want to do a...

Question on moving a fish tank?!?

so i will be moving In a couple weeks (it's about a two hour drive) and wanted to know the best way to move my tank from here to the new apartment with no fish casualties. It's a 30 gallon hexagon tank. I'm not sure if I should keep some of the tank water and put it back into the tank when I get...
