I really love the tank layout!

It may be. It's a great food to help grow your fish fast, but too much is risking constipation. To split the cubes easily, I scoop tank water into Tupperware and melt the blood worm cube. (I like to.use a large eye-dropper to feed my fishes) You can refreeze the portion you don't use.

I think he will be fine for now. I think up until 5-8 inches you'll be fine.

You could still use the cichlid stones as tank deco. Making larger "caves" with driftwood pn top of them.

Mesh would work. You can find it addy any craft stores. Mosquito net type material.

I think that sounds awesome. My acrylic divider didn't stop fry from swimming in between the edges. I think a ten gallon tank inside is a great idea! I'll be following this.

Adding driftwood is a great way to mimic the cichlids natural environment. It can add hiding places and lower the ph. Plecos and snails like to lightly snack on it also.

@ivan2020 cannot and should not are two very different things. When I bought my first tank from local classifieds it included SA CA and African Cichlids all of which lived together for the four years with the previous owner. He said there were never any problems. Now my tank is New World...

Male mollies are relentless! Lol I had a Dalmatian Mollie that would try to impregnate every fish in the tank lol. They breed like rabbits.
