I have a 55 gal. 1 bala shark 2 leperanus 1 pictus catfish 1 pleco 1 peru snail I normally feed flakes to them and alge waffers to the pleco, the smail just eats what ever is in the tank. Im looking for something else to feed the swimming fish maybe bloodworms? tubiflex? anything else...

what about the one inch per gallon rule right now im at 25 gallons and the gill is done growing. that leaves 20 inches to the eel and the pleco alone.

he is about 9 inches and shares the tank with only 2 other fish a 8 inch blue gill and a tire track eel. he has a zebra pattern so im guessing he is a common>?

i have to huge pieces of artificial driftwood, (not real wood) does he need driftwood or him stiing on the fake stuff and up against the tank walls is good enough. thanks as always

he eats leaf worms which are just a skinny version of a night crawler and he also eats frozen brine shrimp, the shrimp fall to the bottom and then at night he noses thru the gravel and sucks them up. PROBLEM SOLVED i got a large scoup net from the lfs and cut the netting out and duct taped it...

NO im sorry i need to be more clear. im assuming that the eel will eat the problem i forsee is that my bluegill will eat all the eel food before the eel can get to it, any suggestions on how to keep the gill away from the brine?
