I have an apono bulb that has begun sprouting and i want to place it some where else in my tank. I just unburied it and it has a a bunch of roots maybe 1-1.5inches long. Is it possible to cut these and replant and be ok? Will they gow back? Should i just replant them long?

I set up my 10g tank about 3 days ago and everything seemed ok until I used Api Leaf Zone. Eversince my waters had a orange-brownish tint ant filter already looks bad. Any advice on what to do? Pic of filter which again only 2-3 days old n looks likr that.

Put in the recommended amount of Api Leaf zone woke up to orange water. Is that normal? If not what should I do? Is it sage to add my fish?
