Vengitto,

Was curious what your construction was. Looks like doubled 2x4 around the top, and assume the same on the bottom with same on verticals? Sure it won't be top heavy?

Also from you and others on the forum, I was wondering if a tank of this size needs any considerations for placement. Lots of water, and lots of weight. Will normal home construction be ok for placement along a wall.

Its single 2x4 frame top and bottom. Corner vertical supports are two 2x4 on each corner vertical post with single 2x4 support in the middle on front and back.
As far as placement, I personally would not have the heart to put something this size anywhere but the basement on concrete floor. Hopefully someone can answer that who knows what they are talking about.

This is what it looks like

Would love a tank that size!
It's looking really good, what are you thinking of stocking it with?
Following along!

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
30 gallon vampire shrimp, green lace shrimp and snails.

Ready to cycle!!

Where the intakes are housed I lose about 4 or 5 inches... Otherwise maybe two inches

Wife wants Green Terrors... I want a Rainbow Wolf. If her green boys can coexist with him then she can have them
