1st Betta, is he healthy?

Hi everyone
I am a very new betta owner and I have had my male halfmoon betta (Apollo) for about a month or so. I bought him from a local Petsmart. I've realy bonded with him and do my best to take care of him but as I said, i'm new to this.
Apollo is in a 1 gallon tank with a heater and filter for now. (I have a 15 gallon tank I need to clean and set up )
So i wanted to put up a few pics of him to get some advice on how hes doing. He did have fin rot at one point so I treated him with medicine about a week ago. Thanks everyone

Aww! He's a looker!


He also looks healthy to me. I don't see anything "off" about him so don't worry!

Just make sure to keep up with water changes in something so tiny! Minimum amount per week is 2-100% changes in a 1 gallon. (Atleast that's my minimum and most keepers I know that have any in a 1 gallon)

Lovely looking fish, id personally get him in the bigger tank as soon as I could. More room for him to play!
