I like it! Often times IMO DW can distract from the scape especially in a small one.

Also is the Cabomba Furcata really pink on the ends? Mine turns this deep dark maroon color and the leaves below are almost a rust color. Guess it's from being under the Metal Halides. I like the pink, that is close to the darker pink color my Limnophila hippuroides turns.

My cabomba furctata always had the really pretty pink on its new growth, but it didn't do so well for me so I hope you have better luck with it!

I am not really sure if I like the dwarf hairgrass. I will give some time to it, but my I may go with Dwarf Baby Tears for all 3 tanks.

I think dwarf baby tears looks really good with smaller tank that have interesting background plants. I really like the DHG in your tank though, I love the way DHG looks when kept really short

Yeah, I think if you stuck with all HC, it would give a more unified look to the triple scape concept. Right now it's a little distracting with the DHG, and almost takes away from your concept, making it look like just 3 different tanks sitting next to each other.

I think it would look good if you did DHG on each side and a little bit in the middle tank. And then have a strip of HC

I had to re-address it, it was too individualized as mentioned.

I ended up bring the driftwood forward, crating a gap between background and mid, added the DHG behind the DW and then bwarf baby tears to the front, linking all three in a more continuous way.

Every time you do something to your tank I'm more impressed with it, looks great! I think all of us are constantly tweaking our tanks to get closer to our ideal setup, I haven't seen a tank yet that isn't still a work in progress, even James Findlay will create a tank for the green machine that looks beautiful but he'll make adjustments and improvements for years on it.

I personally just put stuff how I want it and never change it (other then adding stuff).

When I scape tanks, I make a vision out of stuff I already have.

CO2 + Light and happy Plants = carbon structure and O2

Your concept has evolved and is really coming together now.

The nice thing about it is it looks like one tank in three cubes now, and each cube has some different looking thing to see. So each has interest on its own.

Can you post three pics of the individual tanks now that you changed them a bit. Maybe an over all view of the three and then in order left to right! lol

Here you go. I moved in February, and a real camera (point and shoot or SLR) is yet to be found inside neglected cardboard boxes...

Light upgrades, CFL and the bettas (2) are now on tanks 2 and 3. Tank 1 has still high concentrations of ammonia...
