You have come quite a way with your planted tank. Congrats! Nice choice of plants; good contrast.
Yeah, that's the same background from last year. Swap it for a dark, solid color.

I just go get heavy stock black art paper from Michaels... may need to get multiples for a big tank. Try to get the blackest one possible. They show up better

I use black poster board from the drugstore. Cheap! Tape it to the tank
