Think it was called somthing different though... B somthing loach

Common names are NOT consistent. Find out the Latin name.

All of the flattened loaches and a few others are known as Hillstream Loaches as a group, named after the environment they come from. Individual species get all kinds of names. Once you know the Scientific name, then you have a better chance of finding good care info.

IF you read the article I linked, you'll see an array of different common names for this fish.

It is a species of Hillstream Loach.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillstream_loach

The OP's pic is Probably Sewellia lineolata.

Hillstream Loaches are also called Butterfly Loaches AND other names. Lots of other names. Their care is still what is listed for their Species ! You could call it a Lively Ringed Flat Loach and it would still need what it needs to THRIVE. These tend to DIE in regular tanks.

Sorry for ranting.
Find the name
Find the care it needs
Then figure out if it will thrive in your tank

I don't know how to be any clearer. A Borneo Sucker is still a Hillstream Loach. Find out the SCIENTIFIC name, find out it's needs.

Yet another care guide.

and another.

"Name: We’ve bought these under the names Borneo sucker and Hong Kong pleco. We see them in the literature as hillstream loaches, butterfly plecos, Chinese butterfly loaches, and butterfly flatfishes. Evidently, several similar species exist.". But they are ALL Hillstream Loaches and most need similar care. Well oxygenated, fast flowing, COOL water. They prefer a river tank. IF you want to try one, go ahead, but PLEASE read a care guide or 3 so you can keep it alive.

Sorry no loaches. Ok new stocking plan 2 ideas though

2x micro angels
1x dwarf gourami
2x GBR
5x hatchetfish
10x glolight tetras
Plus pleco and bottom feeders

OR
Keep my micro and glolights in my 10g and get
7x hatchetfish
2x angelfish
2x GBR
Maybe a bigger type of schooler?
Plus pleco and bottom feeders

SUGGESTIONS!?!?

Yeah I kinda forgot about that. Never mind. Rummynoses get about 2" but the ones I've seen around where I live they're more like 2.5".

Hmm rummys are angel safe then huh? I wish glolights were!! What about lemon tetras or somthing like that?

Hey would a peacock eel work well in a 40 gal planted with tons of hiding spots and water flow?
