Hi Guys

It is about 47 gallons (180 Litres) and currently doing a fish less cycle. This is my plan for stocking:

2 Bolivian Rams
2 Bleeding Heart Tetra
7 Various Species of Cory
3 Zebra Loaches
4 Otocinclus
4 Harlequin Rasbora
5 Neon Tetra
4 Cherry Barb
Substrate - Gravel

Filter - Tetra EX1200 and a Juwel 3.0

I currently have in my smaller tank:

4 Harlequin Rasbora
2 Peppered Cory
2 Zebra Loaches
1 Oto
2 Neon Tetra
2 Cherry Barb
( I got the neons and cherrys from a friend)

I will get a API test kit

Does anyone have any suggestions for stocking that go with what I already have.

Thanks

7 species of cory? How many per species?

Tetras and barbs should be kept in group of 6-8, more is even better. I believe rasboras are the same.

Some corys will shoal, two of my species do, but the pygmys will not. So, it really depends on what you get.

Geez, have patience already. I'm at work, not like I'm just sitting here waiting to see what you need. ;)

45 gallons:

2 Bolivian Rams
6 Bleeding Heart Tetra
7 Various Species of Cory (I would do 3 species of corys, 3 each)
3 Zebra Loaches
4 Otocinclus
6 Harlequin Rasbora
5 Neon Tetra
6 Cherry Barb

Personally? I think you're pretty well stocked with this plan. In fact, I'd eliminate the cherry barbs and up the neons to 8. I would also eliminate the otos and you're pretty full on bottom dwellers.

When stocking a tank, a very important issue is to keep in mind how many each species needs in its school.

It's easy to get excited in this hobby..... if you didn't, I'd worry about you..... :D
