The tank looks nice.

Cherry red shrimp are a good tester shrimp. The toughest of them all. They are nice and worth trying. The CRS do not like changes in water quality! People using CO2 end up adding a automatic controller to regulate the pH. Keep an eye on the KH. The Cherries don't care. They are tough. If you kill those, something is wrong. I know a breeder of CRS. He stated that fluctuations are the biggest cause of death. From what I have seen I would agree! Not even Nitrates are good.

Well, I did a massive trimming today... the rotala w looks pretty sad after cutting off the tops. I am hoping some of the lower leaves come back now.

Massive amounts of RCS in this tank now... probably a hundred. The DHG is full of them. Going to have to get rid of some soon... will post the latest FTS.

I am still waiting on shrimplets from my first two berried RCS.. Can't wait until I have a tank full of shrimp as well!

Slight rescape today. The rotala was too thick and getting too leggy from all the trimming. I cut it all back and am just going to grow out about 8 stems in the back right corner.

Updated pics. Just pulled about 30 or so rcs out to ship to a member. There must be 40-60 still left in there...

Rotala is coming back nicely. You can see it peaking out from behind the rocks now...
