I really don't doubt it. Especially if it's not heavily planted. I'd say odds are 50/50 at best when it comes to dwarf gouramis specifically.

Ohh i heard from sum1 that teir jack dempsy killed all of his fish except the pleco! Haha maybe this was rare but they seem pretty mean. And ya sometimes gourmis are agressive, sometimes not
