I tested my water everything in the norm. Ammonia nitrite 0. pH 7.8. Nitrates 0-5.

its possible with the low nitrates...I have a fully stocked Cichilid 55 with about 15 juveniles and some cats. My Nitrates did spike to about 40 but after i did some water changes and Filter(gunk) cleaning i now how this baby done to 5-10..No plants...ALL is Possible with a Little (AQUARIUM ADVICE)..

Actually yes I have some plants. 2 java ferns and an elodea lol.
