What can I put in a planted 6.5 gallon cube tank? I don’t want to put shrimp or snails in. I am trying to be low energy so avoiding a heater if possible. I think white clouds are too active for a small tank and although I have heard Endlers tolerate cool temperatures their habitat looks pretty tropical to me.

The PH of the tank is around 6.5 at the moment and it is still cycling.

Two fish that seem possible are a single Scarlet Badis and a small group of CPD. I am thinking it would be better if I keep only female CPD as male aggression and reproductive behavior sucks the space out of a tank.

If I get a small heater I would just get a Betta female.

At the moment the only thing in the tank is a healthy population of active and hungry hungry annelids (detritus worms) that I guess came with the aqua soil. I am sure they will provide a Scarlet Badis with hours of hunting fun if I get one.
