The value fixtures from Reef Breeders cannot do the morning evening transition. You will need to attach 2 timers in order to have the blues come on and go off by themselves. Meanwhile, I would suggest a straight blue and white fixture, not one of these.
Also, the morning/evening transition is just for aesthetics- your corals are not going to care either way.

Yea I M looking at the controllable lights, specifically the 24 in. I want this tank to be as much like nature as possible with out breaking the bank!

Got my sump and skimmer today!! do you think this is good so far

Yes, it looks good. It looks like you aren't going to have much room in that sump if the power goes out. Better do a few tests. You are going to need to prop that skimmer up a bit. They are usually in about 10" of water.

Have you tried to shut down the pumps and see how much the sump fills up?

Yea it goes up about 4 in

Thanks I do have a few things I think I'm doing wrong! 1) there is a huge splashing sound with the going from the main display into the overflow box! 2) my skimmer won't adjust ! The bubbles just keep going up what can I do?

Is there a riser tube inside the overflow box that you can adjust up to lessen the distance the water has to fall?
I'm not sure what you mean about bubbles going up in the skimmer. Can you take a pic?

Ill check on the pipe and the skimmer is overflowing in better words and I have the reef octopus!

So, it's adjusted all the way down and it's still overflowing? What is the water height it's in?
