Used to do it quite a lot but some time ago. When we had a hobby farm used to do peach, etc wines. I used a heater pad over winter with a towel under and on top of pad. The brew bottles from memory were not as flat as fish tanks but never had any troubles with pad or heating even though brew bottles are quite tall. I don't think temperature could be adjusted on the one I had though. It was just pre-set.

I've seen a few online. They don't tell you what the temperature is set for. I sent a message asking one seller.
