Aggression

I recently added a BETTa to my tank of angel fish neon tetras kuhli loach ghost glass fish
Every thing before I added the BETTa was peaceful and no one fought now the angelfish are attacking
The BETTa and the BETTa is hiding in a small gap between the filter and the glass and won't move the
Guy at the fish store said it would be ok

Some times it works sometimes it doesn't. I've had angels that can live with bettas and other that can't. How many angels? Do you know if they're paired? That could explain all the aggression. I would suggest taking him back if you could or maybe getting a tank for the betta?
