Something In my tank is out of balance and I've been growing lots of algae in my 55 gallon planted tank I really need some help. I understand that a little algae is ok, but I would like to be able to see into my tank. I'm not experienced but I think I have cynanobacteria. It forms large clumps on the sand and pulls off it is also stinky. If so what causes this and how do I get rid of it long term.

Specs

55 gallon
2 48" 32 watt t8 shop lights
1 24" t5 ho
24 oz paintball setup with 3 bps
excel daily
Flourish comprehensive weekly
Osmocote plus

What I think may be contributing to my issues

1.poor water flow? Do I need a circulation pump

2.not enough plants I don't have whole lot of plants right now and quite a bit of open space

3.Not enough co2 I haven't ordered a drop checker yet but my plants are bubbling/pearling?
