Anyone have any experience with this plant? I have 20 on the way and I'm wondering how everyones experience has been. I'm slowly turning to live plants. Mainly as I am breeding platys.

i have a couple of these plants and i enjoy them a lot, they enjoy still water and the roots spread and intertwine in unique positions :) its a nice plant to have, now if only my gourami would stop nibbling on the roots >.>

Very easy lil floater from south America spreads pretty fast under the proper conditions. I keep some in my discus tanks they get long feathery roots that hang down and are attractive. Some fish do nibble the roots off though.

They don't need any special care as long as they get enough light! If i use only ambient lighting, for example, they die. But if they are floating in your tank they will do great. I prefer them to duckweed because they don't clog my filters. You will like them!
