I know it's a baby snail of some type but not sure what type. Any thoughts?

It's not necessarily a baby. It could be a sundial snail. The best thing to do is check to see if it has a strange operculum that looks like a rattlesnakes rattle. If it does then you want it out of your tank because it is a sundial. If it does not then you are fine to leave it as it is a harmless algae eater called collonista snails. I have some collonista snails in my tank that I thought were sundial snails until I picked them up and looked for the operculum.

Thank you. After reading I took it it and to closer inspection it had the rattlesnake like thing coming out so I readily removed it from the tank. No sundials anymore. I don't have any coral yet but am soon to get some. Thank you

It's a collonista. Harmless. Sundial snails look way different.
the snail in this photo (at the top) is a sundial.
