I am wanting to buy a rimless because after watching countless videos of Ada tanks online, I have fallen in love, but spending the kind of money Ada expects me to spend will starve me for weeks. I will be eating algae along with my shrimp if I buy one. What are some other brands out there that are rimless and affordable? I've stumbled upon gla and mr aqua so far.

I really want to know what kind of rimless tanks you guys have.

And I prefer long tanks. Both these companies make the 12L that I just die for.

My LFS that specialises in shimp and plants always has a constant supply of Do!Aqua tanks that I absolutely just drool over!! Some day...haha anyways Do!Aqua are a pretty good brand that aren't too expensive. As I remember correctly, Do!Aqua is a branch of ADA, bu not too sure on that:)

Lucky that you have an LFS that carries such beautiful tanks. Yeah I just checked and doaqua is part of Ada. They just make the same tanks with normal glass. But everything is sold out on the website...

Moved to General Hardware/Equipment Discussion.

I was looking at the Mr Aqua 12g long rimless. They are nice tanks from what I read. A couple people complained about poor silicone jobs but most were good.

A heck of a lot cheaper... LOL. Honestly, I don't know. I don't get into these "designer" tanks to be honest. I'd ask fort or someone else for their input. I know he's a big fan of the ADA tanks.

So I just looked at the price difference and the mr aqua is cheaper by about $10. That is with shipping for the mr aqua an without shipping for the gla. I'm assuming the gla shipping will be ridiculous. Has anyone ordered a tank from gla online before? How much will I be expecting for shipping?
