Best way to net rainbows

Need to re home a m/f pair of yellow rainbows, need to net them without trashing my tank setup or stressing other fish, tried it once and they started thrashing and swimming into the glass, stopped because I did not want to hurt them, any. Ideas? Do it while they sleep??

If they're that terrified of the net then you can let it sit in the tank for a day or two to let them become used to it being in there. Some fish are just soo fast you have to rip apart the tank to get them.

Yes, problem is.. My barbs are psychotic during feeding too, it's like a hurricane of fish! I'm going to give it one more try while feeding, just don't want to injur anyone
