First the female has to be conditioned with the right foods and usually in a divided tank so they can see each other, but not kill each other.
You have to be ready to save her if they fight and then have a separate tank for her after they breed And then 100 jars to separate out the babies.

Read up before you make this choice. Females sometimes kill males also.

Is he awaiting a love or will he get over it .

The co2 thing is weird

Ph change in one day of co2?

CO2 effects your PH. This is normal. If your CO2 is DIY and 24/7 make sure you run an air stone at night to help fish breathe. Put air on a timer.

Don't run bubbles during the day while CO2 is on or you'll lose your CO2.

Normal healthy Betta males build bubble nests, he's fine.
