Biocube 8 gallon build thread. First time need lots of pointers!

Well what I did the first time. Was I let the water be for like 3 weeks. I guess I need to put fish in there after my nitrates rites and amm settle. I let the water sit for like a week. I think that that was my problem.

If you do a fishless cycle and don't put anything in after it settles you can kill of the beneficial bacteria that the cycle created. The bacteria needs waste from something to continue living but if you have finished the cycle and have enough live rock you could get a nill nitrates reading and still be fully cycled and ready to go.

I actually don't don't remember. The heads are pretty bright green, and they look like dragons eyes in the center.

How many coral is okay to put in a 8 gallon?
