Black Ghost Knife Fish

I have a 55 Gal tank and I'm planning to get a Black Ghost Knife Fish. I know that will outgrow my tank eventually but I wanna know for how long could I keep it in my 55 (long 48" deep 13" high 21")
Please feel free to give as many opinions

IMO it will grow out that tank in about four to six months.
