I am going to run a par 38 led over my 8 gal nano and I want to try grow some acros or montipora once they hit a size to big for my nano ill out them in my 55
Can i grow sps

It sounds like it would work to me. People use Par 38 bulbs to grow SPS corals, and one over such a small tank would make the area needed to cover very small. Can always give it a try with a frag and see how it goes.

Ill get the bulb specifics for you soon to see if that will help at all acros are sorta pricey here so I don't wanna kill it haha

It's got 4 blue and 8 white with 3 watt Cree led so its 36watt all up giving me 4.5 watts per gallon

Just be careful not to cook your coral with them.
