Hello!

I am looking for some help. I have do many experts tell me different things and how to fix it but nothing seems to be working :(
And they all think it is something different.

It basically starts out as what I call tiny white spots pin size on the glass heater etc. then it grows and looks like a spiderweb or very small jellyfish and floats in the water.
It can also mix up together and create a ball.

It is not on my fish or affecting them. It is just everywhere. My clown loaches often pick at it.

Anh ideas of what it might be?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't experienced them myself, but apparently they are detritus worms. Completely harmless and edible to your fish. Check your feeding and maintenance schedule: it seems the most common cause is over feeding and/or not cleaning the substrate well enough.

I *think* I had a similar thing a while back. I saw tiny little worms "swimming" in the water, and were being eaten by the fish. All gone now, probably all eaten! At least I've not seen any for a long time.
